Marlow’s Poppy Seed Dressing

When I think of you, my dear friend, I remember your broad smile, your creative heart, and this, your favorite dressing. It makes me smile every time.

Marlow's Poppy Seed Dressing

  • Servings: One 10 oz. bottle
  • Print

1/3 cup (79 g) cider vinegar
1 cup (217 g) good olive oil
1/4 cup (50 g) sugar
1 T coarse ground mustard
1 T poppy seeds
1 T onion powder
1 tsp coarse Kosher salt

Put all ingredients except for oil in a Cuisinart or food processor.  Add the oil in a thin stream while the engine is running.

This is fantastic on a strawberry and avocado salad with a little feta and pecans!

Hi, I’m Isabel!

Welcome to Beloved Recipe Box!

When a carefully made feast is prepared, we tend to linger. And these days, sitting down together allows us to dig deeper into how we can be more fully present for the planet and each other in these crazy times.

This group of recipes are tried and true. As recipe requests have increased over the years (and my original recipe cards became dog-eared and food stained), it was clear it was time to create a larger recipe box for them here.

You won’t find any ads on these recipe cards. Just bring a smile, feel welcome and enjoy!!
